FIRST DAY
In the green heart of Umbria stands Todi, on a hill 400 meters above sea level, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards.
Starting point of the visit is the very central Piazza del Popolo with its important buildings, the Cathedral named Maria SS. Annunziata and the Pinacoteca Museum of the city.
Not far from Piazza del Popolo there is a real unicum: the Painted House signed by the international artist Brian O'Doherty who painted and set up each room as if it were a painting.
Walking through the narrow streets and squares of the old town centre you can find the Municipal Theatre of Todi planned by the architect Carlo Gatteschi, and the Scannabecco fountains or the countless churches that dot the small town.
Among these, the church of San Fortunato deserves a visit, which from its bell tower offers a breathtaking view of the city and the beautiful surrounding countryside.
Walking through the Park of Beverly Pepper you will arrive outside the city walls where stands the Temple of Santa Maria della Consolazione, an admirable example of Renaissance architecture whose design is attributable to Bramante.

SECOND DAY
From a window of Palazzo Cesi the American photographer Steve McCurry has captured Todi in a shot that has travelled around the world.
The austere palace stands just a few steps from the Duomo with its Bishop's Gallery and its richly frescoed rooms from which you can admire splendid views of the city.
Going around Todi you will surely notice the numerous and majestic contemporary art installations of the Brooklyn artist Beverly Pepper perfectly inserted in a naturalistic - urban itinerary.
The artist, strongly connected to Todi, decided to donate her works to the city and create the first monothematic park of contemporary sculpture in Umbria.
An integral part of the tourist attraction in Todi are its ancient workshops, so we suggest you to go to the shops and admire the craftsmen at work.
The area in which Todi is located has a dense network of vineyards and has been certified as DOC. Grechetto, Sangiovese, Merlot are just some of the wines that you can taste by going to one of the many local wine companies.
In addition to wine, do not forget to taste the excellence of Tuderte's gastronomy characterized by rustic, simple and genuine flavors.
Finally, we recommend you the possibility to discover Todi underground, a complex of cisterns, drainage tunnels and wells 3 km long located just below the city.

THIRD DAY
North of Todi there is the Tiber River Park that covers 50 km, following the river, a protected natural area that includes many archaeological sites and where you can practice outdoor sports (trekking, hiking, riding, biking, canoeing etc.). Ideal destination to spend a day among the natural and historical beauties of the tuderte territory.
